Grand Opening

We moved in 2014, expanding from 5,600 square feet to over 17,000 square feet! At our new location we have more tools, one of the fastest Internet connections around (500 Mbps!), more A/C and upgraded classrooms/workspaces. Please come visit our new amazing community workshop on Saturday, January 24th from 10am to 6pm.

All day long we will be giving tours of the facility, where you can meet other makers and find out what resources we have available.

Listen to talks on topics such as electric cars (DIY and store-bought), building things with micro-controllers (Arduino, Beagle Bone Black, Raspberry Pi), herbs 101, using Blender 3D modeling software, Tiny Houses, Holography and more.

Demonstrations including a working R2D2, quad copters drones, live blacksmithing, and many other projects our members have created.

Art projects including Marty the horse, a kinetic sculpture.

Blue/green screen photographs in the AV room. Come take a picture of yourself… flying, floating, running, being chased, parachuted, dropped in a hole, or out in space, your imagination is the limit!

Play on 14 different classic pinball machines, hand restored by some of our members.

See music and sounds visualized in fire with our Ruben’s Tube!
