Hello, my name is James Henningson, MrJimmy on talk, and I am running for reelection to the board of directors. Over the past two terms it has been my pleasure to serve the membership and help the space achieve some amazing things. I believe the boards I have served on have helped us survive some difficult times and set us on a long term path to success. As we emerge from the Covid pandemic I believe we are positioned for dramatic growth and a return of much of the wonderful social aspects of the maker community.

I would be honored to be able to continue my service to the Dallas Makerspace. If I am reelected to the board of directors I will continue to be an advocate for the entire membership. My goals for DMS in 2021 are:

  • Complete the final phases of expansion
  • Continue to increase Dallas Makerspaces position in the community through improved outreach
  • Continue to improve our business operations to allow us to survive the current economic climate.
  • Begin a digital expansion of our infrastructure capabilities to improve business operations and member satisfaction
